Excelência de Portugal, a company that makes its mission to promote the premium and luxury side of Portugal as a destination is preparing for the first edition of Wine Destination Portugal 2024 with the aim to promote  the best of Portugal as a wine destination.
 

In this first edition we chose Alentejo as the host region, we will "Uncork Alentejo" the largest region in mainland Portugal, a Slow Living destination where we can find luxurious and unpretentious offers while savouring some of the best wines in Portugal!
 

To make this event a memorable experience that you will want to repeat and offer to your customers, we joined forces with Winexperiences.pt and its founder Bruno Gomes, an expert in the field of wine tourism and with an in-depth knowledge of wines, terroirs and the best wineries of Alentejo, as well as with DOC DMC specializing in Wine Tourism and partner of Excelência de Portugal.
 

Alentejo - with a diversity of captivating landscapes, offers a range of activities that - just imagine - harmonize with its best wines. Set off on a journey of discovery of its traditions, gastronomy and heritage.
 

 The venue for the event will be the Mar de Ar Aqueduto Designhotel, located within the historic walls of Évora, the capital of Alentejo and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.
 

From the 11th to the 16th of November 2024, be our guest: 
 

Join us for a welcome and networking dinner, followed by a day and a half workshop with pre-scheduled meetings. The closing dinner will take place in one of the most impressive wineries near Évora.
 

You will be able to meet around 30 wine tourism players from Alentejo and other regions of Portugal. We will bring together an exclusive selection of charming Wine Hotels, Estates and Wineries, as well as local agencies, DMC's and experience companies so that you can be inspired for programs in Alentejo or seek advice from local operators to plan and sell Portugal as a wine tourism destination to your clients.
 

From the 13th to the 16th of November 2024 we have prepared for you 3 tours that will allow you a total immersion in the Culture, Heritage, traditions and lifestyle of the Alentejo and that will allow you to experience the different terroirs.

We recommend arriving around midday on the 11th of November - there will be a shuttle service to Évora throughout the afternoon.

On the 16th book an afternoon or evening flight. All tours end at noon at Lisbon airport.
