PORTUGAL - BRAZIL
In spring 2024, the renowned journalist and wedding blogger Manoela Cesar will return to Portugal for the fourth Wedding Destination Lab Portugal - Brazil in collaboration with Excelência de Portugal.
From Brazil, Manoela Cesar will be accompanied by an entourage of wedding planners and event professionals, who will join Brazilian wedding planners living in Europe, with the aim of getting to know the beauty and solutions of Portugal's hospitality and events market in depth. The aim is to promote Portugal as a Wedding Destination.
The venue chosen is the fabulous Pestana Palácio do Freixo, Pousada and National Monument, Leading Hotel of the World.
Who should attend
All social event professionals, as well as hotels, restaurants, event venues, decoration companies, ceremonialists, photographers, florists, pastry chefs and catering companies. In short: all Portuguese or foreign companies interested in the Brazilian Wedding market.
Opportunities
After the pandemic, Brazil's Destination Wedding market is increasingly important! Brazilians have a strong cultural and emotional connection with Portugal, as well as sharing the same language and, often, roots and family members living in our country or in other European countries.
Weddings in Brazil are usually celebrated in grandiose parties with many guests. Recently, however, the trend for Destination Weddings has come to stay among Brazilian brides and grooms.

Educational Session
Our event will also include a masterclass, with talks and Q&A Sessions by experts from the Brazilian market. In this way, you'll be able to learn more about trends, needs and characteristics of this market and meet wedding planners and ceremonialists from Brazil and Europe who are really moving clients and have the potential to bring their weddings to Portugal and Europe.
During the business sessions, we guarantee a minimum of 14 face2face meetings with Brazilian or European wedding planners, ceremonialists and other influencers who work with Brazilian brides and grooms on a daily basis and advise not only on the choice of destination but, of course, on the hotel or structure, the caterer or decorator for the event and all the other important details so that the entire destination wedding program is truly memorable.
The various networking moments in the beautiful ambience of the Palácio do Freixo but also outside the hotel in one of Porto's many emblematic spaces - will allow to connect with business fellows and suppliers in order to discover and deepen opportunities for cooperation.
